Airports For Modern Day Business Travel

For many modern day workers airports and airline travel are a fact of life. Due to the increased concerns about security you need to become very familiar with proper travel protocols if you will be traveling frequently.

Knowing how to prepare for security checkpoints and being prepared to keep yourself occupied while at the airport are absolutely vital if you will be traveling by air frequently.

When entering the airport you will want to be sure to have all of your stuff appropriately at the ready so as to make your experience as smooth as possible.

This involves several steps including knowing what needs to be put through security scanners so that you do not need to go through secondary screening, having luggage that makes it easy on you (i.e. separate toiletry compartment), and having productivity, entertainment, and comfort accessories to make travel as pleasant as possible.

If air travel is part of your everyday life then a laptop air card that allows you to access the Internet can be essential, as it will allow you to work from the airport.

In addition you will either want an MP3 player or a laptop stocked with movies to keep you entertained and noise canceling headphones to drown out the noise of the plane.

I’m Trying Virgin Airlines Next Time

I recently returned form a trip to Las Vegas. The trip was mostly paid for as I was to attend the annual Consumer Electronics Show and Affiliate Summit Workshops while I was there.

Having not flown on an airplane in over 3 years, I was not totally prepared for the amount of work, stress and frustration that comes with traveling anywhere by air these days.

I heard a news story (after I got back, of course) about how Virgin Airlines has these big, roomy planes, comfy seats, good food and alcoholic drinks included and more.

This is worth looking into. Now, if we can get the TSA and the rest to rethink the approach, it might be fun to fly again.

More to come on the TSA, as well as Virgin Airline’s new approach to commercial air travel.

Travel Wisely Like I Did

Traveling can be one of the most exhilarating experiences as long as you know the right tips and techniques to sremain comfortable. It is important to master the different modes of travel so you can get the best of deals and seats. I learned a lot by traveling both short and long distances and occupying almost every space obtainablein any type of vehicle. Here are some guidelines on how to stay safe and happy regardless of the current rush or situation.

Plane Guidelines

You may now get airline tickets via the internet. Gazing at my travel alarm clocks, I contacted a few of my friends online then set the date, time and exact seat I wanted on the plane. Scheduling early is one vital thing, but you also have to report to the airport on time or else they might give it to another. I find that the seats facing the lavatory as well as those near the emergency exits are the best since you acquiremore leg room. Always aim for these when making reservations.

Bring the necessary items that will keep your mind off air pockets and airsickness such as a book, mp3 player or your laptop. Doing work on the plane can actually cut time in half, so sometimes I’d just choose to pay more getting larger seats and a big working space in first-class. You may also chooseto get two seats instead to get the space you want. If you’re prone to airsickness, prepare medications, eye shutters and a paper bag.
